Our Location

We are located at 707 Patak Road,Karon Cliff, Phuket, Thailand. If you’re coming from the airport, we recommend that you take the mini bus (approx 180 baht) or a regular metered taxi (approx. 600 baht). The training camp is just 5 mins from the centre of both Patong and Karon.  Camp guests can use the free shuttle service that goes into both locations daily.

THINGS TO DO

In addition to our one-on-one training structure, our desirable location is yet another reason why our students love training here. The gym is situated on Karon Cliff, just outside of Patong – which is the most developed beach on the island. Since we’re up in the hills, we offer a quiet, distraction free training environment with nice clean air and breathtaking views all the way down to the Big Buddah. The running path up here is absolutely beautiful. So beautiful in fact, that words don’t even do it justice. Here are some photos instead..

As for the town of Patong – which is only a short 5 minute motorbike ride down the hill – you’ll find everything you could possibly need. There’s a huge, modern shopping mall called “Jungceylon” where you’ll find the stores and restaurants that you’ve grown accustomed to from back home. There’s also a theatre on the upper level that showcases all the latest movies from back home – as well as some Thai films with English subtitles.

There’s a few large grocery stores in Patong, as well as markets, fruit stands, food stalls and of course, franchise restaurants such as “Subway”, “Burger King” and “Pizza Hut”. There’s also convenience stores on seemingly every single block (7 Eleven & Family Mart) so you’ll never have a hard time finding anything you need.

In addition to the convenience stores, you’ll also find massage parlors all over the place so after your hard training sessions, you can head into down and get either a foot, oil or a Thai massage for between 7-9 dollars per hour. Frequent massages will definently speed up your recovery time between workouts.

And speaking of relaxation and recovery, Phuket is famous for beaches that look like they belong on a post card. You can get to Patong Beach in about 5 minutes on a motorbike and while you’re there, you can go tan, go seadooing, go parasailing or get a variety of healthy snacks delivered right to your chair. You could even get a pedicure and a foot massage while you’re soaking up the sun.

And if you wanted to switch it up a bit, you could just head on over to Karon or Kata beach. Karon beach has a more family environment and hosts the annual Womens Open Beach Volleyball Tournament. The gym is situated smack bang in the middle of Patong and Karon, Kata & Kata Noi are the next beaches down. Here are a few photos..

NIGHTLIFE

Patong is the nightlife central of the island. So, after a hard week of training, you don’t have to worry about a long, expensive commute to the clubs if you want to have a night out with your friends. Catch the evening shuttle into either Patong (or Karon). The main nightlife area on the island (Bangla Road) is about 5 minutes away via motorbike. On Bangla road (which leads to the beach), you’ll find some grand scale nightclubs (Seduction, Hollywood and Tiger Disco), some restaurants, about 200 or so regular bars and all sorts of sights and sounds that will make you rush for your camera so you can capture the moment. Here’s a video compilation that somebody put together of the Patong Beach nightlife..

As crazy as this looks, you’ll feel like you’re miles away when you’re at the gym. Since we’re up in the mountain, you’ll experience nothing but clean air and peace and quiet. That being said, if you’re craving a wild night out after a hard week of training, you won’t have to go far to find it.

MUAY THAI FIGHTS

There are 2 different Muay Thai stadiums located in Patong within about 5 minutes from each other. The “tourist” stadium – Bangla, and the WPMF Sanctioned, Southern Thailand National Stadium – Patong Boxing Stadium.  Each of the stadiums hosts 2 fight nights per week so 4 nights a week, you have the option to go and watch live Muay Thai. Not only that, but if you feel like you would like to fight at one of the stadiums while you’re here, the gym manager (who is also a respected promoter) can match you up against an opponent with similar training/fighting experience. Your fight will be televised on national television  here in Thailand.
